Lovebirds planning their upcoming nuptials were invited to join Imperial Events and a host of other local Atlanta vendors to enjoy an evening of brides, bubbles and bliss at the historic Dekalb Courthouse. Captured by Made You Look Atlanta, we were honored to help ‘sweeten’ the evening with our gold chiavari chairs. Additional vendors included Ambience Decor, DJ Spontaneous, Lyghthouse Cocktails, BelFiore Bridal, the 5th Wick, Event Rentals Unlimited, Perfect Wedding Cake, the Donutologist, Mel Smith MUA and Linen Hero. Enjoy these images from the evening!
Ellie turned 1 year old in high style at her fairytale Cinderella themed party! Held at the B Loft in Atlanta, the team from Encore Events 90210 flew in from Cali to design and coordinate the grand affair. Fuji Floral provided the florals, Luxury Lighting set up the drapes and lighting, and we complimented the kids’ tables with our petite-sized ghost chairs. All of the fantasy was beautifully captured by Made You Look Atlanta. Enjoy!
When this Birmingham-based husband and wife duo decided to renew their vows, they did so in grand style at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook, Alabama this summer. Surrounded by a flurry of friends, family and fabulous decor, we were honored to help ‘sweeten’ the celebration with our clear chiavari chairs and clear Pasha chairs. Coordinated by Valia Rose Events and captured by Arden Photography, the Pickens have truly been an inspiration for couples and singles alike!
1 Corinthians 13:4 states, ‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.’ We wish them many more years of marital bliss!!

A few weeks ago, Sweet Seats had the pleasure of sponsoring a few ghost chairs for a photo shoot styled by Stephanie Anderson of Carolyn A Events in collaboration with Love Gives Way, an organization designed to connect wedding pros and non profits in the fight against sex trafficking. Earlier this season, Tasha Jackson, Creative Wedding Planner Extraordinaire, hosted her signature event, ‘Vision to Vows’, at the Neiman Marcus Cafe in Atlanta. This unique opportunity gave brides-to-be first hand insight on wedding prep tips directly from event professionals in a luxe, yet comfortable environment. Our ghost chairs and clear chiavari chairs helped ‘sweeten’ the day. Images by Made You Look ATL. Here’s a ‘sweet peek’!
Search for reviews of vendors you’re thinking about hiring. Event Wire, Atlanta Bridal.com and Wedding Wire are all awesome sources not only because they serve as excellent tools to help you in your planning, but they also give you access to reviews from previous clients and brides. If reviews are not available, you may consider asking the vendor for references.
Say what’s on your mind. If you have questions about a vendor’s proposal, contract, payment options, timeframes or anything else that you’re not clear about, it’s important to voice it. You want to be informed throughout the decision-making process so that when your big day comes around, you can relax and enjoy it, knowing you made solid decisions along the way.
Stay calm and hire an event planner or wedding coordinator to assist with your planning and ‘day of’ needs, especially if you’re inviting lots of guests, if you have a lot of vendors involved, or if it’s a multi-day or multi-location celebration. It’s one of the best investments you can make. These qualified professionals can provide a wealth of guidance to help you navigate through the process of selecting AND managing vendors for your wedding or event. Many planners/coordinators have developed a trusted relationship with various vendors so they are familiar with what they can offer based upon your vision and budget. They will also serve as your contact person on your big day so that you can sit back and enjoy yourself.
Secure vendors for your special day with a signed contract and deposit as soon as you’ve decided that you want to hire them. Vendors’ event calendars can fill up quickly, particularly during the peak months of wedding and event season and around holiday weekends. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to have one of your favored vendors be a part of your special day, so if you like them, let ’em know and find out what you need to do to get established on their calendar!
